Chris Lee

Chris Lee is an accomplished financial services executive with extensive experience in payments and lending. Currently serving as Vice President & Head of Payments at Interac Corp. since March 2024, Chris previously held various leadership roles at Scotiabank, including Vice President of BNPL, Unsecured Lending & Payment Products and Networks, where responsibilities included overseeing debit cards, domestic e-transfers, and cross-border payments. With a foundational background in product development and operations as a founding member of the Scotiabank Digital Factory, Chris has also driven initiatives in agile program management and enterprise strategy. Prior experience includes roles at Accenture, Mastercard, Deloitte, and General Motors, highlighting a strong expertise in consulting and process engineering. Chris holds an MBA from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Waterloo, and completed the Strategic Analytics Executive Management Program at Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.
