Mahmood Ahmad

Mahmood Ahmad has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mahmood is currently serving as the Director of Platform Engineering & DevOps at Interac Corp. Prior to this, they worked as a Management Consultant and Director of DevOps at The Nationwide Group. Mahmood also has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, having served as the Senior Manager of Technology Infrastructure & Development at Ontario Health | Santé Ontario for 15 years. Mahmood has a background in consultancy, having worked at Electronic Data Systems and Amdocs in roles such as Consultant Architect and Senior Architect. Mahmood began their career at Electronic Data Systems as an Advanced Systems Engineer and later as a Systems Engineer.

Mahmood Ahmad received their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Ryerson University, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Mahmood later pursued Executive Leadership studies at the Ivey Business School at Western University from 2005 to 2007. Mahmood also holds several certifications, including IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from Pink Elephant, and certifications from ISACA, HIMSS, Pragmatic Marketing, and PEO - Professional Engineers Ontario.
