Pamela Giffels Cohen

Pamela Giffels Cohen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Pamela Giffels started their career as an Assistant at Computer Identics Inc., where they provided computer support and data entry for the Accounts Payable department. In 1989, they had a summer internship at HGP Inc., where they supported the engineering staff.

In 1990, Pamela worked as a Firmware Engineer at Phoenix Technologies until 1993. Pamela Giffels then joined Turning Point Software as a Quality Assurance Engineer Consultant, focusing on functional, stress analysis, and application testing of graphic and sound intensive applications for Microsoft.

From 1994 to 2003, they worked at PFPC Worldwide Inc. (part of PNC) as a Principal Software Engineer, where they performed installations for electronic commerce applications and developed centralized online request system applications. Simultaneously, at PNC, they held the position of Principal Software Engineer, implementing enhancements and coding bug fixes for retail and retirement web server products.

Between 2004 and 2006, Pamela worked as a Technical Consultant at TalentFusion, recruiting engineers, architects, and DBAs nationally for high-tech positions. During this time, they also worked directly with Fortune 500 companies, including Microsoft.

From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a Senior Technical Consultant at RKB Resources, where they had account management responsibilities and sourced and hired engineers for various positions.

Currently, Pamela is at Interactions LLC, where they hold the role of Principal Application QA Engineer. Pamela Giffels is responsible for directing and managing a hybrid QA team across multiple applications, QA complex workflows, and has customer-facing responsibilities with Fortune 500 companies.

Pamela Giffels Cohen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
