Christopher Alcroft

Christopher Alcroft has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Christopher currently serves as the Head of Finance Business Partnering at interactive investor, a position they have held since 2018. Prior to this role, they worked as a Finance Business Partner at the same company from 2018 to 2023.

Before joining interactive investor, Christopher worked at Swinton Group from 2007 to 2018. Christopher held multiple roles during their time there, including Finance Business Partner, Acquisitions Accountant, and Financial Accountant. In these positions, they were responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and investment appraisals. Christopher also played a key role in the implementation of a new finance system and the production of annual statutory accounts.

Prior to Swinton Group, Christopher worked at Makro Self Service Wholesalers Ltd. and Bupa. At Makro, they served as a Financial Accountant and Assistant Accountant, overseeing accounts finalization, capital expenditure, and sales and stock reconciliations. At Bupa, they held various positions, including Assistant Fixed Asset Accountant, Commission Analyst, and Claims Assessor.

Christopher Alcroft attended Rivington and Blackrod High School from 1989 to 1994. Christopher then went on to study at North Bolton Sixth Form College from 1994 to 1996. After that, in 1996, they attended Sheffield University, where they studied Physics for a year. From 1997 to 2000, Christopher attended Sheffield Hallam University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Aided Engineering & Design. In 2008, they obtained the ACMA certification from the institution CIMA.
