Drew Becker

Drew Becker is a seasoned professional in technical design and production, currently serving as a Technical Designer at InterAmerica Stage, Inc. since May 2013, where responsibilities include the design, drafting, fabrication, installation, and troubleshooting of structural, mechanical, and electrical components for the entertainment industry. Previously, Drew held positions as Technical Director at Washington & Lee University, where duties involved engineering and scheduling show constructions, managing students, and maintaining the scene shop. Experience also includes serving as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Florida State University, teaching graduate courses, and advising student technical directors. Earlier work includes serving as Assistant Technical Director at Goodspeed Musicals. Drew holds a Master of Fine Arts in Technical Design & Production from Yale University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Theatre from Florida State University.
