Chris Nicol is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in the development of collaborative solutions and educational technologies. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris is part of a cross-functional team focusing on hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and related educational devices. Previously, Chris held positions as a firmware engineer and electronics contractor, contributing to firmware development and educational device design. Chris also served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting various engineering labs, and gained early experience as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, where responsibilities included circuit design and software development. Educational qualifications include an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
