José Alfonso Romero Juárez has extensive experience in compliance and legal roles within the financial services industry. José Alfonso began their career in 2009 as a Compliance Legal Manager at Pagos Intermex SA De CV, where they served until 2017. In this position, they held responsibility for ensuring regulatory compliance and overseeing legal matters. Since 2017, José has been serving as the Director of Legal Compliance Mexico at InterCambio Express, Inc., where they continue to contribute their expertise in compliance and legal affairs.

José Alfonso Romero Juárez completed their primary education at the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México from 1996 to 2002. José Alfonso obtained a Licenciatura degree in Actuaría Financiera during this time. In addition to their formal education, they earned certification in the field of Preventing Money Laundering from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in September 2020. José Alfonso also received certification in Preventing Illegal Financing and Terrorism from the Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores in October 2020.
