Philip Sanger

Founded Intercede Health in 1995. One of three Original Founders, and Initial Investor in HealthSpring, while also serving as a Board Member and Chief Institutional Medical Officer, went public in 2006, acquired by CIGNA in 2012. Managing Partner in TEXO Ventures, as well as Chief Medical Officer of Employer Direct Healthcare. His opinions can be found in national publications like Managed Healthcare Executive, Health Insurance Underwriters, The Hospitalist Magazine, and Disease Management Advisor. Dr. Sanger was the benefactor in the creation of the Sanger Learning Center, at the University of Texas, which currently serves 20,000 students.
