Manager, Talent Acquisition & HR Operations at Intercept Pharmaceuticals

Hea-Jin Pons has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Their most recent position was at Intercept Pharmaceuticals, where they worked from 2015 to present. Hea-Jin started as an Executive Administrator to the President of U.S. Commercial & Strategic Marketing and was a member of the team that led the successful U.S. launch of a product called Ocaliva. Hea-Jin then transitioned to Talent Acquisition, where they held roles such as a Talent Acquisition Associate and a Senior Talent Acquisition Associate - Recruiter. In their current role as Manager, Talent Acquisition, their responsibilities include coordinating all aspects of interview scheduling, managing onsite logistics for interviews, arranging candidate debrief calls, booking candidate travel, managing new employee onboarding process, and supporting HR with employee-related changes and contracting/invoicing processes.

Before joining Intercept Pharmaceuticals, Hea-Jin worked at The Leading Hotels of the World as an Executive Assistant to the CEO, CFO & GC, as well as a Coordinator of Information Technology from 2011 to 2015.

Prior to that, they served as an Office Administrator at Robert A. Grossman, M.D. from 2006 to 2010.

Hea-Jin also gained experience as a Research & Administration Assistant (Part-Time) at the NYU Center for Health and Public Service Research in 2005 and as a Tutor/Teacher Aide (Part-Time) at the NYU America Reads/America Counts Program from 2002 to 2003.

Hea-Jin Pons earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology & Sociology from New York University, completing their education from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Recruiting and Talent Acquisition from eCornell in August 2021.
