Jorge Lerena

Jorge Lerena has a diverse range of work experience in engineering and consulting roles. Jorge is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Interco since 2023. In 2022, they worked as a Principal Consultant at HUK Consulting LLC. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2022, they served as the Corporate Manager for Engineering Projects at HOCHSCHILD Mining. Jorge has also held the position of Chief Operating Officer at PENTA Engineering Corporation from 2016 to 2019 and served as Vice President at PEC Consulting Group from 2011 to 2015. Jorge Lerena has extensive experience in project management, operations, and consulting. Jorge began their career as a Project Engineer at Acciona Agua, S.A. and worked as a Teaching Assistant and Head of practical work at the Universidad de Piura during their studies.

Jorge Lerena attended Georgetown University in 2011, where they studied Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, they earned an Executive MBA from ESEUNE in 2003-2004. Jorge completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering Sciences with a specialization in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Universidad de Piura from 1994 to 1999. Jorge Lerena also studied at Sir Isaac Newton College from 1982 to 1993.
