Louise Chow

Louise Chow has had a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 2007, they began their career at Macquarie Group as a Software Engineer before transitioning to an internship. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at TripIt as a Software Design Engineer II and then as a Software Design Engineer III on the Platform Team, where they led API redesign research and development. Louise then joined Songkick in 2016 as a Software Developer, and in 2017, they worked at TransferWise as a Full Stack Developer. In 2018, they returned to Songkick, this time as a Tech Lead Manager, overseeing a team of engineers and collaborating closely with other departments. Most recently, they have joined Intercom in 2022 as an Engineering Manager. Throughout their career, Louise has demonstrated strong technical skills, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to mentoring and coaching their colleagues.

Louise Chow completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees from UNSW, specializing in Computer Software Engineering and Japanese Studies respectively. Louise also participated in the Asian Studies Program at Kansai Gaidai University in 2007 to further their knowledge in Japanese Studies.
