Luis Plata Eit

Luis Plata, P.E. is a professional engineer with a background in chemical engineering and extensive experience in the petrochemical industry. Currently serving as a Project Engineer and Operations Engineer at Intercontinental Terminals Company, LLC since November 2020, Luis previously held roles as an Upstream Process Engineer and Field Engineer at ExxonMobil from August 2019 to October 2020. Additional experience includes a position as Membership Chair for the Student Engineers' Council at Texas A&M University from May 2018 to April 2019, and internships at PepsiCo as a Global R&D Engineering Intern and Wilsonart as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in 2018 and 2017, respectively. Luis earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University, having previously completed education at Cinco Ranch High School.
