Ahmed Elhamy Mostafa

Ahmed Elhamy Mostafa is an accomplished engineer and researcher with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and telecommunications. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at InterDigital, Inc. since August 2021, Ahmed focuses on developing AI models for simulation-backed standard contributions in various study items. Ahmed holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia, where research included enhancing connection density in narrowband IoT systems. Prior roles include staff positions at The American University in Cairo, where significant contributions were made to M2M communications and teaching in various engineering courses. Experience at Intel included the development of LTE simulation tools and contributions to 3GPP standards. Ahmed's education encompasses a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, both from The American University in Cairo.
