Samir Armaly

Samir Armaly is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and corporate governance. As a Board Member at InterDigital, Inc. and Airmeez Inc., Samir contributes to the Audit Committee and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, respectively. Samir also serves on the board of Artema Labs, Inc., focusing on decentralized media and blockchain innovations, and advises DivX, LLC, a pioneer in digital video technology. Previously, Samir held the position of President of IP at Adeia, where responsibilities included managing a major IP licensing business following the merger of TiVo and Xperi. Samir's experience also includes serving as a Strategic IP Advisor at TiVo, and as EVP of IP & Licensing at Rovi Corporation and Gemstar - TV Guide International, where significant milestones in media IP licensing and major acquisitions were achieved. Early in the career, Samir practiced as an intellectual property attorney at O'Melveny & Myers LLP and Christie, Parker & Hale, LLP. Samir obtained a JD from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
