Mohamed Gamal has a comprehensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Mohamed started their career as a Software Developer Trainee at Horizonssoftware in May 2017. From August 2017 to January 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer at Schneider Electric, where they designed and implemented the CGV system and participated in the development of the SE-Planning tool.
In March 2019, they joined JRM for Communications as a Software Engineer and led the design and development of a real-time solution for the Ministry of Interior in Egypt, as well as developed microservices for a SaaS product in Dubai.
From May 2020 to January 2022, Mohamed worked at Cegedim as a Senior Software Engineer in the Stock and Order management squad. Mohamed collaborated directly with Product Owners and Solution Architects in the UK team and provided solutions to enhance the onboarding process for new joiners.
In March 2022, Mohamed joined Swvl as a Senior Software Engineer and contributed to the implementation of scalable APIs and integration with R&D machine learning solutions.
Currently, they are working at INTEREL as a Senior Software Engineer. Their responsibilities include implementing scalable system APIs, integrating partner systems, and managing properties and hotels in multiple countries.
Throughout their career, Mohamed has demonstrated expertise in system design, API development, integration, and working in Agile environments. Mohamed has also shown strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Mohamed Gamal obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Ain Shams University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Mohamed then pursued a 9-Month Diploma in System Development at the Information Technology Institute (ITI) from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in C++ Essential and Professional from the Ministry of Defense Information Systems Department, as well as a certification in Java SE from YAT Software. The specific months and years of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
