Senior Software Developer at Interface Fluidics

Evan F. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. Evan started their career in 2007 as a Swamper/Rigger at AGRA Foundations Limited, where they performed general labor tasks and gained some experience as a Lead Hand. In 2009, they transitioned to Rabbit Hill Ski Resort as a Snow School Instructor until 2012. In 2012, Evan joined ESC Automation as an Engineering Technologist/Software Developer, where they designed and programmed HVAC automation control systems for new commercial building construction.

In 2015, Evan worked at Pleasant Solutions as a Software Developer, where they developed and maintained software products in a .NET environment. Later that year, they moved to BlackFeather Controls Inc. as a Lead Software Developer, leading the development of a new data logging system for completion side Fracking equipment.

From 2016 to 2018, Evan worked at Silent-Aire Manufacturing Inc. as a Controls Programmer/Software Developer, programming custom HVAC Air Systems controls, web interfaces, and working with Niagara 4 Software. In 2019, they joined Hybrid Infusions Ltd. as a Principal Software Engineer, where they led the software and automation development of the company, including designing and implementing an Inventory Tracking System. Evan also worked at Mobile Data Technologies as a Software Developer II during the same period.

Most recently, Evan joined Interface Fluidics in 2021 as a Senior Software Developer, responsible for developing the main automation software suite using C# (.NET), WPF, Graphql, SQL, Influx, Modbus, DirectX, and serial communication.

Evan F. completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Specialization in Computer Science from the University of Alberta, where they attended until 2011. Evan later obtained a Nano Degree in Machine Learning Engineering from Udacity, attending the program from 2017 to 2018.

In addition to their education, Evan also holds a certification as a CSCP Certified Coach from Canada Snowboard, which they obtained in November 2011.
