Janett I. Cordovés, Ed.D., currently serves as the Senior Program Director of the Presidents Consortium at the Institute for Citizens & Scholars and has held the position of Director of Higher Education Partnerships at Interfaith America since June 2017. With previous roles that include Director of Orientation, Placement Testing, and Family Programs at Northeastern Illinois University, Director of Residence Life at Illinois Mathematics & Science Academy, and various positions at Northwestern University, Semester At Sea, Barnard College/Columbia University, and Boston College, Janett has extensive experience in higher education administration, program development, and student support services. Janett holds a Doctor of Education in Ethical Leadership from Olivet Nazarene University, a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Montclair State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Montclair State University.

We convene allies and partners, helping them discover shared values and guiding them through collaboration toward a common cause. We provide curriculum and resources on religious pluralism, empowering leaders to advance diversity and inclusion and build community. And, we build capacity for institutions and organizations by awarding grants and support that enable them to leverage interfaith cooperation as a proven approach in solving challenges. Together, we are building an America where people of different faiths, worldviews, and traditions bridge divides and find common values to build a shared life for the good of all.
