Zahra Jamal

Zahra Jamal, Ph.D., CDP, is a seasoned expert in diversity and inclusion with over two decades of experience. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Interfaith America since August 2023, Zahra drives strategy and high-profile engagements in corporate and higher education settings, focusing on worldview diversity and interfaith cooperation. As the Founder and CEO of The Inclusion Expert, Zahra supports diversity across religious, racial, and gender lines, specializing in Muslim diversity for Fortune 1000 companies and nonprofits. Previous roles include Associate Director for Community Engagement at Rice University's Boniuk Institute, Fellow at the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding, and key positions at the University of Chicago and Michigan State University. Zahra holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology and Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard University and has been influential in shaping policies and research on issues related to diversity, gender, and religious tolerance.
