Jennifer Leone, CPA has a diverse work experience in financial management and accounting. Jennifer started their career as a Finance Manager at the Alley Theatre, where they managed the accounting function and coordinated the annual fiscal audit. Jennifer then moved on to become the Director of Finance/Development at the Houston Masterworks Chorus, where they provided part-time financial and fundraising management. Jennifer joined Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston as a Controller and eventually worked their way up to the position of Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, overseeing the financial and administrative management of a $58m human services nonprofit. Jennifer's responsibilities included executive leadership, strategic planning, financial and tax reporting, budgeting, data analysis, audits, and compliance. Jennifer led a team of professional staff responsible for various functions such as payroll, human resources, accounting, and IT.
Jennifer Leone, CPA obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Puget Sound in 1999. Jennifer then pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree in Nonprofit Management with a Theatre Emphasis at Tulane University, which they completed in 2003. In 2008, Jennifer obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Houston-Victoria. In 2013, they became a Certified Public Accountant through the TN State Board of Accountancy.
