Matthew Wright

Matthew Wright has a diverse work experience in the food service industry. Matthew currently holds the position of Director of Meals on Wheels Operations at Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a District Manager at Subway from January 2019 to January 2020. From 2012 to 2019, they held the role of Food Service Director at Aramark, where they managed staff, developed menus, and acted as a point of contact for clients. Before that, they worked as a Location Manager at Aramark from 2008 to 2012, where they hired and trained staff, created menus, and increased sales. Matthew also has experience as a Manager at PF Changs from 2005 to 2008, where they were involved in opening a new store and managing schedules and training. Matthew started their career as an Outlets Manager at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. from 2002 to 2005.

Matthew Wright attended the University of Houston from 1997 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Prior to that, they attended St. Thomas High School from 1994 to 1997. Matthew has also earned additional certifications such as "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" from LinkedIn in 2020, "Certified ServSafe Instructor and Proctor" from the National Restaurant Association in June 2019, and "ServSafe Manager" from the National Restaurant Association in July 2016.
