Learning Experience Designer at Interfolio

Jordan Weissberg, M.Ed. has a diverse work experience. They currently work at Interfolio as a Learning Experience Designer, a position they started in March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Interfolio as a Learning Content Specialist from June 2022 to March 2023.

In 2019, Jordan joined Montgomery County Public Schools as a Mathematics Tutor, a role they held until June 2022. During their time there, they also served as a Standard Setting Committee Panelist in July 2021 and as a member of the Curriculum of Learning Algebra 2 Team from April 2020 to December 2020.

Before joining Montgomery County Public Schools, Jordan worked at Gaithersburg High School as a Mathematics Teacher, teaching AP Statistics, Honors Algebra 2, and Geometry. They also conducted staff trainings on technology usage and created an asynchronous LMS training for all school staff members. Additionally, they served as the JV Volleyball Coach for a brief period from August 2018 to October 2018.

In 2018, Jordan worked as a Mathematics Tutor at Potomac Oak Tutoring. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Student Intern at the University of Maryland in 2017 and as a Legal Assistant at the Law Office of Karel C. Petraitis from June 2015 to August 2017.

Jordan was an active member of various organizations during their time at the University of Maryland. They were a member of the Order of Omega, a Greek society for fraternity men and women who demonstrate leadership in inter-fraternity activities and academic excellence, from May 2016 to May 2017. They were also a member of Pi Mu Epsilon, the Mathematics Honors Society, from November 2015 to May 2017.

In addition, Jordan was a member of Noyce Scholars, a program that provides scholarships to undergraduate students pursuing a career in secondary mathematics or science education, from June 2015 to May 2017. Through this program, they committed to teaching for two years in a high-needs school district in the United States.

Lastly, in 2016, Jordan worked as an America Counts Mentor for the America Reads America Counts program.

Jordan Weissberg, M.Ed. earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Jordan further pursued their education at the University of Maryland and obtained a Master's degree in Secondary Education, which they completed in 2018.

In addition to their academic achievements, Jordan Weissberg has also obtained several certifications. In August 2022, they received the TechSmith Camtasia 2022 Explorer Certification. Later, in October 2022, they acquired another Camtasia 2022 Explorer Certification from TechSmith. Furthermore, they obtained the Snagit Certification from TechSmith in January 2023, along with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Certification from Deque University in the same month and year.
