Fazeela Ahmed, CPA, currently serves as the Manager of Treasury at Interfor, having transitioned from a Senior Accountant role within the same organization since October 2022. Prior to Interfor, Fazeela gained valuable experience at KPMG Canada, where the role of Senior Accountant was held from October 2019 to October 2022, following a position as a Staff Accountant. Fazeela began the accounting career as an Accounting Associate at Bench Accounting and has also worked as a Junior Policy Analyst for Environment and Climate Change Canada and as a Marketing and Fundraising Associate for the CKNW Orphans' Fund. Additional experience includes a Junior Accountant role at Mawji-Sennik & Co. and participation as a Volunteer for the National Strategic and Consulting Conference. Fazeela's educational background includes a CPA designation from CPA Canada, a Diploma in Accounting from The University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a minor in Commerce from the same institution.
