Kapil Bhatia

Kapil Bhatia is the Executive Chairman of InterGlobe Enterprises. He secured a foothold in the travel industry quite early, by starting his career as the Sales Manager of an IATA agency. In 1964, he established Delhi Express Travels, which gradually flourished into a group of travel-related organisations.

He continued as the Managing Director of Delhi Express Travels for over 25 years. It is due to Kapil’s vision and able guidance that InterGlobe Enterprises bloomed from a single company into a vastly successful conglomerate. Kapil is an integral member of various industry associations. He served on the Board of Directors of Andhra Bank Ltd. and Punjab National Bank, and has served as the Chairman of the Tourism and Aviation Committee of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India.
