Hazel Meredith

Hazel Meredith is an experienced leader in mental health and substance use services, currently serving as the Transformation Lead at Interior Health Authority since February 2023. Previously, Hazel held the role of Project Manager for the Early Psychosis Intervention project at Island Health, focusing on staffing and process development. As Chief Executive Officer and later Executive Director of Mental Health Recovery Partners, Hazel championed recovery-oriented services, including peer support and public education. With a long tenure as Executive Director at BCSS Victoria, Hazel specialized in providing recovery-oriented support to individuals with mental health challenges and their families. Additional experience includes consulting for Restorative Justice Victoria and management roles within the Canadian Mental Health Association and Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. Hazel holds a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Royal Roads University, emphasizing business, leadership, and mental health.
