Johann Schreve

Johann Schreve has extensive work experience in the medical field. Johann has held various roles at different companies throughout their career. Currently, they are working as a GPO at BC Cancer and as the Medical Director at Afya Skin Clinic. In the past, they have worked as a Co Lead IHA Medical Staff Website Development, Head of Department for Hospitalist Medicine, Hospitalist, and CMIO at Interior Health Authority. Johann has also worked as a Medical Officer at GF Jooste Hospital and Delft Day Hospital. In addition, they have experience as a Managing Director and Founder at Afya Wellness Inc, Director at Borland Medi-Clinic and Wellness, and Director at Williams Lake Longterm Care Practice. Johann Schreve started their career as a Medical Intern at New Somerset Hospital.

Johann Schreve's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Stellenbosch University from 2001 to 2006. In 2017, they completed their Certification in Family Medicine (CCFP) from the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Johann pursued further education in the field of PQI (Patient Quality Improvement) from IHA PQI in 2020-2021 and is currently enrolled in the IHA NAVIG8 program for Organizational Leadership, which started in 2021 and is expected to end in 2023.
