Miguel Ivan Antonio has a diverse range of work experience. Miguel Ivan is currently serving as the Corporate Director - Healthcare Technology Management at Interior Health Authority since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Island Health - Vancouver Island Health Authority, where they held various roles. From February 2020 to April 2021, they were a Manager - Biomedical Engineering. Before that, they worked as a Biomedical Engineer, specializing in Medical Technology for the North Island Hospitals Project, from June 2014 to February 2020.
Before their tenure at Island Health, Miguel worked as an Engineering Research Assistant at UBC School of Population and Public Health from May 2009 to June 2013. Miguel Ivan was part of a team that developed a particle counter device and a particle separator based on MEMS principles, producing a working prototype and publishing their findings in the IEEE journal.
Miguel Ivan'searlier experiences include working as a Biomedical Engineering Co-op Student at Island Health - Vancouver Island Health Authority in 2012, a Field Survey Assistant at BC Hydro in 2008, and a Medical Equipment Technician at Pak Biomedland Tech Care SA de CV from 2006 to 2007.
Miguel Ivan Antonio completed their education at The University of British Columbia. From 2007 to 2011, they obtained a BASc degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following that, they pursued a MEng degree in Biomedical Engineering from 2011 to 2013. In 2012, they also obtained technical training at Baxter for the CXE Volumetric Infusion Pump.
