Brandon Buterbaugh

Brandon Buterbaugh currently serves as the Director of Bands for Derry Township School District since June 2019 and has held the position of Board Member for Berks Sinfonietta, Inc. since October 2018. In addition to this, Brandon has been a Freelance Web Designer since June 2012, specializing in website design and technical support for various organizations. Experience includes working as an Institute Camp Counselor at Interlochen Center for the Arts since June 2017, and previously as a Graduate Assistant for Bands at West Virginia University from August 2017 to June 2019. Brandon acted as an Assistant Instructor at Berks Summer String Institute from August 2016 to August 2018, facilitating ensemble rehearsals and providing individual lessons. Other roles include seasonal work in sales and customer service at Penske Truck Leasing and Penn State Berkey Creamery. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Penn State University and two master's degrees in Conducting from Messiah University and Trombone Performance from West Virginia University.
