Carin Nuernberg

Carin Nuernberg currently serves as the Executive Director of Interlochen Online at the Interlochen Center for the Arts, a position held since August 2022. Prior to this role, Carin Nuernberg spent over two decades at Berklee College of Music, where positions ranged from Senior Course Developer to Vice President of Academic Strategy, contributing significantly to the development of online education programs, including the launch of the world's first non-profit, accredited online bachelor degree programs in music. Notable achievements during this tenure include leading Berklee Online to win multiple awards for excellence in online education. Earlier experience includes roles at CNET, focusing on curriculum management and instructional design, as well as instructional design work at the University of Washington. Carin Nuernberg holds a Master of Arts in Communications from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and French from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
