Gary Gatzke

Gary Gatzke serves as the Associate Director of Continuing and Community Education at Interlochen Center for the Arts since November 2019. Concurrently, Gary has held various roles at Traverse Symphony Orchestra since September 2006, including Principal Double Bass, Director of Development, Interim Executive Director, and Annual Campaign & Operations Manager. Previously, Gary was the Director of Alumni Engagement at Interlochen Center for the Arts from May 2006 to October 2013 and worked as a Development Associate for National Advancement and Alumni Relations at The Juilliard School from July 2004 to April 2006. Gary holds both a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music in Performance from The Juilliard School, completed between 1998 and 2004, and received a Diploma in Double Bass from Interlochen Arts Academy from 1996 to 1998.
