Sara Hartley

Sara Hartley is an experienced professional currently serving as the Assistant Director of Admissions at Interlochen Center for the Arts since August 2019. Prior to this, Sara has held various roles including Administrative Coordinator in the President's Office at Northwestern Michigan College since March 2013, and Head Baker at Pleasanton Brick Oven Bakery. Additional experience includes positions such as Development Associate at Garrison Forest School and Executive Associate at the Association of Performing Arts Presenters, where responsibilities included managing administrative tasks for the Board of Directors and organizing events. Early career experience includes the role of Music Office/Program Manager at Washington National Cathedral, handling various administrative duties related to programming and event coordination. Sara holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in music from Alma College.
