Christopher Austin, CFA, serves as Managing Director and Head of US Strategic Partnerships & Global Consultant Relations at Intermediate Capital Group (ICG), a role held since June 2015. Responsible for leading the Strategic Client Partnership Channel and overseeing US direct LP relationships, Christopher reports to the Global Head of ICG’s Client Solutions Group. Under Christopher's leadership, ICG has achieved a fivefold increase in assets under management, with over $15 billion in capital raised since 2018. Prior to ICG, Christopher served as Executive Vice President at Standish Mellon Asset Management Company LLC, where a new business model was pioneered, and as Vice President at State Street Research, where a successful consultant relations program was developed. Christopher began the career as a Senior Research Analyst at Mercer Investment Consulting after earning a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Lake Forest College.
