Nathaniel Kiernan

Nathaniel Kiernan is a seasoned legal and compliance professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Legal and Compliance for North America at Intermediate Capital Group since September 2021, Kiernan has held significant positions at major organizations including BNY Mellon, where responsibilities included leading risk and compliance for North America Investment Management, and Clarion Partners LLC, where Kiernan was Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer. Prior experience includes roles at J.P. Morgan, Ramius Capital Group, and serving as Principal Legal Advisor during Operation Enduring Freedom in the U.S. Army. Nathaniel Kiernan holds a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from The City College of New York, and has completed the Command and General Staff Officer's Course at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
