Brigitte Madrian serves as the Dean and Marriott Distinguished Professor at Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business since January 2019. In addition to academic leadership, Brigitte Madrian holds key positions such as Chair and Member of the Utah Valley Hospitals Governing Board at Intermountain Healthcare, and Member of the Deseret Management Corporation Board. With a long-standing affiliation with the National Bureau of Economic Research since 1993, Brigitte Madrian also contributes as a Research Associate and Co-Director of the NBER Household Finance Working Group. Brigitte Madrian's advisory roles include positions at Vestigo Ventures, DoubleNet Pay, Tomorrow Ideas, and Guideline. Additionally, Brigitte Madrian has been a TIAA Institute Fellow since 2010 and was part of the CFPB Academic Research Council from 2016 to 2020. Brigitte Madrian earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology after completing a BA in Economics at Brigham Young University.
