Dawson Vandervort

Dawson Vandervort is a dedicated legal professional currently serving as a Research Associate at the Institute for Energy and the Environment and a Legal Intern at the Conservation Law Foundation. Dawson has a strong background in environmental law, demonstrated through participation in the National Energy and Sustainability Moot Court at West Virginia University College of Law, achieving a Top 16 finish. Previous roles include Student Clinician at the Institute for Energy and the Environment, Pretzel Maker at Smales Pretzel Bakery, and various positions at the University of Dayton, including Fellowship Researcher and Teaching Fellow. Dawson has also engaged in political campaigns as a Field Intern for Jon Ossoff for U.S. Senate and a Field Organizer for Tims for Congress, and ran for School Board in Vandalia, Ohio.
