John McGregor

John McGregor, CISSP, PMP, has over three decades of experience in information technology, primarily at the Internal Revenue Service since 1990. Currently serving as Business System Planning Manager, McGregor oversees computer support for the Office of Chief Counsel and leads ediscovery implementation. Previous roles include Information System Security Officer, where compliance with FISMA and NIST guidance was enforced, and System Architect overseeing complex hardware and software platforms. Additionally, McGregor held positions as Supervisory Computer Specialist and Computer System Analyst, contributing to wide area network operations and LAN Manager migration. Early career experience includes consulting at Radan Systems and managing Valcom Computer Center. McGregor holds a Master of Science in Computer Systems Management (Information Assurance) from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Roanoke College.
