Chief Human Capital Officer at Internal Revenue Service

Kevin Q. McIver is the current Chief Human Capital Officer at the Internal Revenue Service. Kevin has held this position since October of 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Deputy Human Capital Officer (Resources) from October 2017 to October 2020. Kevin has also worked as the Chief of Agency Wide Shared Services from March 2016 to October 2017, and as the Director of Facilities Management and Security Services from October 2014 to March 2016.

Throughout their various positions at the IRS, Kevin has demonstrated their ability to successfully lead and manage large teams of employees. Kevin has also been instrumental in developing and implementing agency-wide security policies and procedures, as well as enhancing the security skills of IRS personnel. Kevin is a key member of the Department of Homeland Security's Interagency Security Committee Standards Subcommittee.

Kevin Q. McIver has a degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Excelsior College.
