Kimberly (Kim) Schoenbacher is an accomplished tax law professional with extensive experience in operational leadership and dispute resolution. Currently serving as the Director Of Operations for the Foreign Payments Practice and Automatic Exchange of Information at the Internal Revenue Service since August 2013, Kimberly has also held various leadership roles within the agency, including Acting Director of the Foreign Payments Practice. Prior to this, Kimberly worked at PwC from 2007 to 2013, where responsibilities included management in Tax Controversy & Dispute Resolution. Earlier in her career, Kimberly gained experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates. Academically, Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Psychology from Connecticut College, a Juris Doctorate from New York Law School, and a Master of Laws in Tax Law/Taxation from New York University School of Law.
