Bridgette Connell

Bridgette Connell is currently serving as a Senior Specialist Project Manager at IAVI since June 2023. Previously, Bridgette held the position of EU Grants Project Manager at the University of Twente from November 2018 to June 2023, where responsibilities included facilitating project progress, organizing meetings, monitoring milestones, and managing project information and quality assurance. Bridgette's earlier experience includes a Marie Curie Post Doctoral Fellow role at UMC Utrecht focused on HIV-1 infection, as well as various research positions at the University of Twente, the Institute de Biologie Structurale, and the University of the Witwatersrand. Educational qualifications include a Marie Curie Research Fellowship from University Medical Centre Utrecht, a PhD in Chemistry and Life Sciences from Université Joseph Fourier, and multiple degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand in Molecular Medicine and Genetics.
