Mario Gagliano

Mario Gagliano is an experienced human resources executive currently serving as the Vice President of HR and Chief People Officer at IAVI. Previously, Mario held the role of VP, HR Business Partner at Zoetis, leading the HR team for the commercial sector across US, Global Diagnostic, and Global Biodevices. A significant portion of Mario's career was spent at Pfizer, where roles included Vice President of Biopharma HR for Emerging Markets and VP, HR Lead for Pfizer Essential Health. During this tenure, Mario managed large HR teams across various global regions, contributed to crisis management during the COVID-19 pandemic, and led significant organizational restructuring efforts to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Mario's earlier positions include Director of Employee Relations at RCN and International Human Resources Manager at EY. Mario earned an MBA from Monmouth University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Business from Ithaca College.
