Cédric Chrétien

Cédric Chrétien has extensive experience in the airline industry, working primarily with the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Starting as an Assistant Manager Services & Support, they progressed to Manager Financial Services, then Head Clearing House Operations, and finally, Head Settlement, Global Delivery Center, Financial & Digital Services. In these roles, Cédric managed large-scale financial operations, re-engineered settlement systems, and oversaw significant contributions to IATA's revenues. Prior to their time at IATA, they worked as a Commercial Officer at Air Liberté in 2000.

Cédric Chrétien earned a Baccalauréat Technologique in Comptabilité from Lycée des Glières in 1994, followed by a BTS in Tourisme et Loisirs Conception & Commercialisation from Lycée Anna de Noailles in 1996. Cédric then pursued a Maîtrise in Géographie et Cartographie at Université de Franche-Comté in 1999 and a Diplôme d'Etudes Supérieures Spécialisées in Développement Touristique from Université Lumière Lyon 2 in 2000. Additionally, in 2001, they obtained a Cambridge First & Business English Certificate from Milner International College Perth Western Australia. Later, in 2008, they completed studies in Airline Finance & Accounting Management, Passenger Interline Accounting & Control, and Proration at IATA Training & Development Institute. Finally, in 2019, they attended Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
