Gurdeep Singh is a seasoned professional in the aviation industry with extensive experience in ground operations, safety, security compliance, and quality management. Currently serving as Senior Manager Ground Operations Safety & Standards at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) since February 2020, Gurdeep's prior roles include Manager Security Regulatory Compliance and Manager Quality, Standards & Compliance at Qatar Airways from 2013 to 2020. Gurdeep also held significant positions as Vice Chairman of the IGOM Technical Group at IATA and Head of Safety, Quality and Compliance at Bird Worldwide Flight Services. Earlier career highlights include establishing the Delhi branch for Globe Express Services and managing customer services and cargo operations for British Airways. Gurdeep holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Executive Management from ICFAI University, completed in 2012.
