Mark Steele

Mark Steele currently serves as the Director of Corporate Planning and Support at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) since April 2015. Prior experience includes a role as General Manager - Finance and Control at Nissan International SA, where responsibilities encompassed managing extensive European General and Administrative costs and overseeing financial management for Research, Development, and Design entities. Mark's career also features significant positions such as Finance Director at Nissan Nordic Europe, where foundational finance functions were established, and Financial Projects Manager roles at both Renault SA and Nissan Europe, focusing on integrating and managing financial systems. Mark began the career as Financial Controller at Nissan Motor Manufacturing Ltd., following a BA (Hons) in Business Studies with a major in Finance and Accounting from Teesside University, complemented by qualifications from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
