Michel Adam

Michel Adam currently serves as the Assistant Director of Governance & Membership at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) since November 2012, overseeing governance and membership initiatives while advising stakeholders on related matters. Previously, Michel held roles including Assistant Director for Aviation Environment at IATA, where responsibilities included environmental policy advocacy and leading expert negotiations at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Additional experience includes managerial positions at the Association of European Airlines and internships with various international organizations, including ICAO and the United Nations. Michel has also contributed to academia as a guest lecturer at Leiden University, focusing on aircraft noise and emissions regulation. Michel's educational background encompasses advanced studies in air and space law, public international law, and environmental law from prestigious institutions such as Leiden University and the University of Geneva.
