Rahat Yasir

Rahat Yasir has a diverse background in data science and AI development. Starting as a Team Lead at BDDEVS in 2013, they later worked as a Software Engineer at Aprosoft Consulting and Training Corp. In subsequent roles at SoftwarePeople, University of Saskatchewan, IMMERSIVE Design Studios, Intact, OSEDEA, CAE, and ISAAC Instruments, Rahat demonstrated expertise in AI development, data science, and AI/ML. Currently, they are the Head of Data Quality and Analytics at the International Air Transport Association.

Rahat Yasir holds a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from North South University. Rahat continued their education at the University of Saskatchewan, earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, Rahat attended executive education programs at Harvard Kennedy School in Leading in Artificial Intelligence and the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in Data Strategy. In 2023, they also obtained a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) certification.
