Simon Laver

Simon Laver is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in airport operations and procurement across various prominent organizations. Currently serving as Assistant Director at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) since December 2018, Simon has previously held positions such as Airport Development at Heathrow Airline Operators Committee Limited and Airport Authorities Manager at Virgin Atlantic Airways. In the latter role, Simon managed key airport authority affairs and negotiations, emphasizing strategic initiatives and stakeholder engagement. Additional expertise includes procurement management at Virgin Media and the BBC, covering software projects and marketing services, as well as previous roles at IBM and Thales Training & Simulation.
