Wai Leong John Chan

Wai Leong John Chan is an accomplished aviation and travel professional with over 20 years of experience. Currently serving as President of BIITCo, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Wai Leong Chan has been based in Beijing since January 2008, focusing on the development of IATA products and services across North Asia, including mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and Mongolia. Prior roles include Regional Director for Commercial Services at Singapore Airlines' Singapore Airport Terminal Services, Executive Director at Macau International Airport Company, and Regional Director of Industry Distribution & Financial Services at IATA. Notably, Wai Leong Chan became the youngest director in IATA worldwide at the age of 38. Wai Leong Chan holds a degree in Arts & Social Sciences from the National University of Singapore.
