Rebecca Malmquist

Rebecca Malmquist, CAE, SAMA, currently serves as the President of the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) since January 2023, having previously held the roles of President-Elect and Treasurer. With extensive experience in municipal assessment, Rebecca has been the City Assessor for the City of Minneapolis since July 2014 and also held the position of Interim City Assessor and Director of Assessments. Prior to that, Rebecca worked as the City Assessor for the City of Minnetonka from June 1998 to July 2014. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Urban and Regional Studies from the University of Minnesota Duluth, earned between 1994 and 1998.
