Carmen Swanson

Carmen Swanson serves as the 1st Vice President of the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IAATI) since September 2023, previously holding the position of 2nd Vice President. With a long-standing commitment to the Arizona Auto Theft Investigator Association as Board Treasurer since January 1998, Carmen has also contributed as an Ambassador at OLS from January to July 2023 and as a Director of IAATI from August 2012 to August 2022. Carmen's leadership experience includes serving as President of the Western Region Chapter of IAATI from October 2019 to December 2021. Prior to a retirement in June 2018, Carmen worked as a Financial Risk Manager in banking, specializing in financial analysis and document crime investigation.

International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IAATI)

The International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IAATI) was formed in 1952 in order to improve communication and coordination among the growing family of professional auto theft investigators. It has grown to approximately 2,000 members representing 58 countries and includes representatives of law enforcement agencies, as well as many others with a legitimate interest in auto theft investigation, prevention and education.
