Garrett Reinert

Garrett Reinert is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in quality, health, safety, and environmental management within the offshore drilling industry. Currently serving as Director of Quality, Health, Safety & Environment at Valaris Limited since July 2013, Garrett has played a pivotal role in enhancing QHSE control processes and driving compliance initiatives. Previous positions include Rig Manager and Operations Superintendent, where responsibilities encompassed personnel safety, drilling operations, logistics management, and project oversight on multiple offshore rigs. Additionally, Garrett's leadership extends to a Vice Chairman role at the IADC Houston Chapter and service as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Reserve. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering and Shipyard Management from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, along with certifications in Operational Drilling Technology and Jack-Up Rig Move Certification.
