Scott Cormier

Cormier serves as Vice-President, Emergency Management, EC, and Safety, for Medxcel. In this capacity, he oversees these programs for the largest nonprofit health system in the United States. Scott has led a large system response to many disasters and has published articles on hospital preparedness, emergency medical services, and influenza patient safety. Scott chairs the Healthcare and Public Health Sector Coordinating Council subcommittee for healthcare active shooter planning and response and serves on the NFPA 3000 committee. Scott worked professionally for the City of Pittsburgh EMS and River Rescue team. He has over 38 years of emergency management, public safety, and military experience.
